Make As Much As You Can
A powerful and fun activity that explores the importance of VALUES. This activity is conducted as a live casino where teams play to make money depending on the choices they make.The game is run at a feverish pace. Teams begin to learn in the game that there is some teams they can trust and others they can’t rely on. This has enormous implications in the finale where teams learn about values and the importance this has to building sustainable results.A highly energetic activity that allows team to take a key ‘Ah Hah’ learning in only 45 mins.

Survivor
Outwit! Outplay! Outthink!
With all the drama of Survivor, this fun filled program creates a very high level of participation, competitiveness and integration. Survivor is a powerful way of bringing people together as teams dissolve and merge. No one is left out of this dynamic teambuilding exercise which involves some great challenges which make teamwork the only way to survive!1 hour plus.

Breaking Down Barriers
Round Table Business Session
Functional groups within a business team have the opportunity to present their feedback on their needs, priorities and how well they are being supported by the rest of the team in achieving these.

Objectives

  • What do we need to do to develop and strengthen the intra and inter team collaboration?
  • Do we know what the functional needs are across the team and are they being supported?

Action Forum
Teambuilding’s own Action Forum program facilitated the group through a series of issues to create solutions that can be implemented. Ideal for any group as everyone contributes their own ideas to the issue by adding post it notes onto the sheet with the appropriate question. Everyone gets the opportunity to contribute to the process.

Identified parties, team, and department take one sheet and works through ideas. Then each sheet, a team culls or groups the suggestions together – thus narrowing down the points. It’s fast and furious, powerful and creative in getting results – why should brainstorming take so long, in just over one hour you have a result and ownership of the solution! Session time – 1 hour.

Team Synergy
A brilliant exercise that dramatically proves the power of teamwork. This activity powerfully demonstrates how teams outperform individuals and what conditions are needed to make this occur. It is high energy and unfolds in a fun learning environment.
What does it take to create 1 + 1 to equal 3?

In small teams participants are given information that puts them into a real survival situation where lives are at stake and they must decide on what their priorities should be in order to survive.

You Be the Judge!
You Be the Judge! is trial-by-dinner “spoof on justice” that is part of your evening program. Quite simply, the dining audience is plunged into an engaging court session during dinner with Judge Randal Walker, presiding over teams who present their cases to the audience. Prior to the evening show, teams are taught the art of debating so there is a link between this skill session and the night’s program. Topics chosen can vary from crafted issues that relate to your business to hilarious subjects given to test the group.

Apprentice…
Customer focus vs. Product Driven
This program asks delegates to demonstrate what it really takes to win a prospect’s business through a consultative approach. The group interacts with a pretend customer and is required to build a solution called ‘The Mural’. They need to use all their skills and ingenuity if they are to succeed! There is a hilarious finale where teams discover some powerful learning’s and the different approaches they took to solving the customers need. Can be use as an icebreaker or as an activity that is part of a program to anchor some key messages around your conference outcomes.

  • Did they deliver on time?
  • When they bought material from the store did they think of the money they could save?
  • Were they proactive or reactive in their dealings with the customer?

Good to Great
The ultimate team challenge!
Teams compete against each other for the Customer’s business and must determine their worth through how well they can demonstrate their teamwork abilities. This is not for the faint hearted!

The program challenges delegates to think about how well they bring out the best in others as well as what is their own personal driver. Over two rounds the shift in teamwork behavior is startling, as individuals really understand the dynamics of teamwork in action. Teams have no more than six members so that there is maximum exposure, interface and coaching. This dynamic simulation calls for teams to perform to the very highest of standards in running the ‘great’ business, which is graphed and the results reported to the Customer.There is also the option to include special modules on teamwork to reinforce the importance of the game’s learning’s to your organisation’s culture and business environment.

Learning Outcomes

  • Understand how important it is to create a shared purpose, vision and direction for a team and inspire the team towards the desired direction.
  • Develop team strategies to support each other when under pressure.
  • Developing and highlighting a range of tools to improve our ability to better influence and generate desired outcomes by problem solving, decision making whilst working within the team to deliver the best possible business outcomes.
  • Developing strong rapport with colleagues and customers by using an array of skills including effective listening, positive reinforcement, transformational vocabulary and demonstrating an increased understanding of the importance of team dynamics.
  • Developing a team culture and team processes around continuous improvement and lifelong learning
  • Participating in a range of fun activities that challenge the group to work together, trust each other and draw upon each others skills and talents to solve these rather vexing problems.

Strengthening Team Roles and Communication
This session builds respect and empathy within a team. In this session the group learns more about different styles, strengths and roles that people play in teams. It will allow people to understand how to bring out the best in others and be more understanding and flexible in responding to their needs.
