Sporting chance

ImageRemember the days when you competed in the annual Sports day – Crowds cheering you from the side line and sporting your very best green stripe Volley’s and raced in your house colours. Running as fast as you possibly could to earn those valuable points for your team in the hope that you achieve hero status amongst your chums. Nothing quite like it!

How it works:
Guests are divided into pre-selected teams and then compete against their colleagues for points to help their ‘house’ climb the league ladder and become Sports Day Champions. Do you have a steady arm for the egg and spoon race ... can you run 50 metres with a balloon between your legs ... are you confident enough in your sack race skills to play your ‘Joker’ and win double points? Duration: Normally runs for between 2 and 3 hours.

Suitable for groups of 20 plus
Please note that this is an example of how the event can be run.
The format and structure can be changed to suit numbers and requirements.
The races will consist of the following and more:

  • Three-Legged Race
    Competitors from each team are nominated to take part in this three legged relay.
  • The Giant Sack Race
    Using large sacks there will be individuals in each who must cover 50 metres.
  • Egg and Spoon Race
    Competitors from each team are nominated to take part. Run as a relay – each guest covering 50 metres each.
  • The Bean Bag on the Head Race
    Each team nominates team members to compete in this race over six heats.
  • A Wheelbarrow Race
    Think wheel barrows, balls, and a good eye!
  • An Obstacle Course
    The course can involve Hula Hoop, Bat and Ball, Hurdles, Tyres and Coconut shy to name but a few.
  • Welly Wanging
    How far can you hurl a welly!? And saving the best until last….
  • The Costume Relay Race
    At various points along a 100-metre track we will place items of clothing.

The invoice amount is payable prior to programme delivery: 100% deposit 30 days prior to program
delivery. Cancellation of a program, within 30 days of a delivery date will incur a 50% charge.
Cancellation within 14 days of the program delivery date will incur a 100% charge.
